Size

In general double pushchairs are larger than single models, especially when they're side-by-side buggies like the Kolcraft Geo 3 and UPPAbaby Vista 2. This extra width allows them to take on heavier children without straining their chassis. Other features that make them stand out: large pop-out canopies that come with SPF 50 protection and peekaboo windows with swivel lock front wheels to assist in navigating tight spaces such as shopping aisles, a cup holder for one parent and a clever fold mechanism that operates with one hand. The 10-inch wheels aren't designed for rough terrain, but they are able to handle city streets and theme park rides quite well.

Weight

The lighter the double buggy, the easier it is to lift and maneuver. The Joie Evalite Duo, which is the most lightweight of our Lab tests, is an excellent choice if weight is an issue. It still has plenty of features like an enormous pop-out canopy that has SPF50 and peekaboo window as well as a quick-release folding mechanism that can be stowed flat in just a few seconds with four-wheel suspension to handle rough terrain and a swivel wheel on the front, which allows you to maneuver tight shops and supermarket aisles. With a price of just over P1,000, it's also a super-affordable stroller. It can also carry twins or a baby and toddler with the purchase of an additional'sidepack'.

Flexibility

A good double pushchair buggy will offer a huge amount of flexibility, regardless if you have twins or two toddlers or a baby. The narrow tandem buggies are ideal for fitting through narrow spaces, while side by side models ensure that your children are properly cared for and allow you to keep an eye on them while you navigate the supermarket or park.
